March Favourites

Let's talk favourites, shall we?

Fresh Flowers

I think fresh flowers as a favourite in Spring is a given, no? I love flowers, despite my hay fever, I think they brighten up the house and bring a little sunshine in.
I will admit they are a rarity in my house though as my mother can be a bit wishy washy about those kind of things in a 'what's the point' kind of way but maybe I'm rubbing off on her as she was the one that purchased the pretty purple tulips!

I'm definitely going to try and keep a constant flow of flowers over the coming months just cause I've realised how much happiness they bring me.

Plus I bought some seeds to plant my own beauties for summer, wayhey!

Greek Yoghurt

Funnily enough I'd never had greek yoghurt until this moment, I've no idea why, I think I had it in my head that it had something to do with goats milk, which along with soya milk freaks me out since I was younger and had to suffice on it for a few months, I'm a little traumatised.

But I had a 'screw it' moment at the start of the month after seeing such pretty pictures of parfaits and granola compilations on Pinterest I just wanted to know what it was like.
I bought a massive tub and I have to say it was full of creamy amazing-ness and I could have happily eaten it all day, it's not as strong as natural yoghurt and goes amazing with fresh fruit and granola, which makes me feel all healthy.

Gabrielle Aplin

I can't stop listening to Gabrielle Aplin at the moment, she is my go to soundtrack as of late. Her album English Rain is beautiful, the music finds it's way into your soul and fills you up with good feelings and the words are poetry. I've loved her for ages, ever since she popped up on YouTube with Harry and Alfie and I'm so happy to see her doing well!

Also, her Instagram is also beautiful.

Duolingo

Duolingo is an free language education app that I'm amazed by, it allows you to learn a language from scratch through a series of mini translation games.

It's free, proven to be as good as if not better than a college language course and well it's pretty addictive. It's gotten a lot of praise from itunes, the google play store and a number of online reviewers, so you know it has to be decent. They offer courses in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian.
I'm working through the Spanish course at the moment and loving it.

Revlon Colourburst Matte Balms

These are definitely one of my favourites at the moment, I love the fact they're a balm and a lip stain all in one go. I currently have the colours Sultry, which is a mauve-berry colour and Elusive, which is a pink-berry colour. They are highly pigmented, long lasting and easy to apply, what's not to love, plus they're lightweight for summer. Next on my wishlist is Audacious, a peachy-orange colour.

I really enjoyed writing this post and I hoped you enjoyed reading it, I think knowing that I was going to write this post at the end of the month helped me appreciate life a bit better, taking note of the little things, which is only a good thing.
I think there is a weird part in all of us that appreciates creeping on what other people are liking, I know for me that knowing what other people's favourites are is one of my favourites.
